i'm playing through this game again now, but this time with my 5 year old and 3 year old kids. and it seems to be their favorite of any game. pretty amazing for a nearly 30 year old game. then again, their other favorite is super mario RPG, which is even older. XD

My only real complaints with Lego DC Supervillains is how it kinda steers itself towards being yet another superhero game and how the story felt a little too short and rushed which was really disappointing as someone who loved the custom villain aspect and wanted to spend more time in the story playing as them

I've played this game as a fan of the movie when I was younger. The timed events were the most frustrating but it was wasn't the worst kind compared to other games. The platforming is so bad, it has given me PTSD when jumping in other games, then again most platforming games in the 90's era were very precise and their punishment system was brutal.

ive played a ton of bb3, and have gone back to bb2. way more solo options, a huge selection of teams/races , and i got it on pc recently for like £2.50 with all dlc, bb3 cost me about £30 and even after all this time there are only a few more teams and i dont want to pay 750 vbucks or whatever for one team

2002 was indeed a great year, I got my first ps2 in April of 02 due to shortages. Same for GTA3, people seem to forget just how big that game was. It was tough finding stores that could keep it in stock, which in turn made it hard to find a console. Even though it released here in the states in 01, I didn't get my hands on it til 02.

Ueda is probably referring to the original Prince of Persia from the late 80's/early 90's, which has a similar aesthetic and gameplay to Flashback, not the newer release on PS2 in 2003.

Alice Asylum wasn't cancelled so much as EA got big mad that American even suggested making it (maybe the artwork and hype made EA feel like they were being undermined?), and I feel like they threatened legal action? Either way, they are holding the IP hostage and we should be giving them collective shit for it. I'm glad American is taking it in stride and moving on, but EA screwed fans over, as well.
